Dr. Charlotte Wood appointed to State SARS CoV-2 (COVID-19) Advisory Committee

A Coppin State University faculty member is making a difference in the fight against COVID-19 across the state.

CSU’s Dr. Charlotte Wood appointed to State SARS CoV-2 (COVID-19) Advisory Committee

Dr. Charlotte Wood, Helene Fuld School of Nursing Professor, was recently appointed to the State of Maryland's SARS CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccine Technical Advisory Group. 

The advisory group will focus on communication strategies customized to the diverse groups represented in Maryland’s overall population. The information communicated will be related to knowledge about the SARS CoV-2 vaccine and guidance on the prioritization, implementation and distribution of the vaccine.  SARS CoV-2 is known as the virus that causes COVID-19.
