Dr. Jale Aldemir is a faculty member in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Coppin State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychological Counseling and Guidance from Inonu University, Turkiye. She received her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with Early Childhood Education Emphasis from The Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on preservice and inservice teachers' beliefs of educating young children, STEM integration in early childhood education, and impact of study abroad programs on teacher candidates' professional development. Dr. Aldemir currently teaches early childhood curriculum methods courses and supervises teacher candidates in field experience and internship.
