MEDIA ADVISORY: Coppin State University to Host Events Celebrating Homecoming and 125 Years
BALTIMORE – Coppin State University is celebrating Homecoming alongside its historic 125th Anniversary. The University is traveling back through the decades to honor the foundation and the layers that have made it a pillar of excellence.
From February 16 to 23, we will host a weeklong celebration highlighting Coppin’s legacy of academic excellence, student success, and community impact with a series of exciting events, including alumni reunions, campus festivities, and the highly anticipated Homecoming basketball game.

Coppin Chopped: Soul of Labor: A Culinary Tribute to African American Workers
February 19 | 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. | Talon Center, Dining HallA one-of-a-kind culinary experience where six teams will cook, create, and curate dishes inspired by the rich history of Black labor and its impact on American society.
State of the University Address (SOU)

President and First Lady’s Boutique & Tawes Game Rroom Ribbon Cutting

Coppin State University will celebrate the grand opening of the President and First Lady’s Boutique and the newly renovated Tawes Game Room. These new additions will provide students with access to professional attire for career opportunities and a dynamic space to relax and connect.
