Coppin State University's Center for Strategic Entrepreneurship Secures Significant Support for 2024 Economic Inclusion Conference at Coppin on April 25
BALTIMORE – The Center for Strategic Entrepreneurship and the College of Business at Coppin State University is pleased to announce a new corporate sponsor of the 2024 Economic Inclusion Conference (EICAC): Wild Kid Acres, LLC. This collaboration aims to educate and empower young budding Hispanic and Latino entrepreneurs through a partnership with Coppin. The conference will be held on the Coppin State campus on Thursday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme of this year's conference is Youth Entrepreneurship: Pathways to Economic Empowerment.
The EICAC 2024 Conference will provide opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs of all races, ethnicities, and cultures to learn, network, and connect with experienced entrepreneurs, interact with exhibitors, and attend educational sessions. High school students will participate in the Excellence in Excellence in Entrepreneurial Learning (EXCEL) Lab Experience, a research project initiated in 2023 to inform and foster youth entrepreneurship in Baltimore. The information will focus on knowledge and skills crucial to the free enterprise journey, understanding of finances, growth strategies, and other pertinent information.
"I think this event is important on so many levels," said the CEO and founder of Wild Kid Acres, LLC. and sponsor of EICAC. "Our community misses out on many of the opportunities to advance in business, education, and generational wealth creation in general. The Latino community makes up a significant workforce across multiple industries and is one of the fastest-growing business communities in the state and the world. If events like these existed more and found us on our level, with our language and focused on family values, the Latino community would be better assisted to grow and unite in the growth of all other cultures. Thank you to Coppin for organizing such an event and allowing the community to be represented."
The conference will offer topics that will be developed simultaneously: Economic Empowerment, Education, and Social and Community Innovation. Participants will also hear from thought leaders on youth entrepreneurship; Engage with policymakers, youth program leaders, and youth advocates, and observe the entrepreneurial ingenuity of youth and emerging adults.
