Forensic Investigations Club
Welcome to the Forensics Club!
The Coppin State University Forensic Investigation Club is a student organization designed to promote further learning and professional development in preparation for a career involving forensic investigations. Members of the organization will be able to foster relationships with members of similar interests while learning more about the forensic investigations field.
Goals & Objectives
The club provides opportunities for students to:
- network with professionals in various sub-disciplines
- develop skills in areas such as fingerprinting and crime scene reconstruction
- attend meetings and workshops
- expand and develop critical thinking, presentation, research, interpretation, leadership, and social skills
- attend educational conferences such as the American Academy of Forensic Science, Chesapeake Bay Division of the International Association for Identification, and the Mid-Atlantic Association of Forensic Scientists
- partake in social activities, field trips, community projects, and service throughout the academic year
