Dr. West is an expert in the field of mental health counseling, disability services, ADA compliance, a researcher, professor of counseling and rehabilitation who inspires and empowers her students by advocating and creating accessibility to higher education.
Dr. West has been in higher education for almost two decades, teaching, researching, and serving students in the field of accessibility and mental health.
Dr. West currently resides in West Baltimore with her husband, Chris, her daughter Alia, and her furry four-legged son, Harlem. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and renovating historic homes and buildings when not at work.
