Scholars and school counselors will meet with the Coppin State University Dual Enrollment Liaison for advisement on course selection.

  • Some courses may be offered on site at high school at a time that the building level administration deems convenient and appropriate to the scholars’ existing schedule and will be offered during the regular school day with the approval from the Provost Office of Academic Affairs.
  • Other courses will be offered at Coppin State University campus and the building level administration is responsible for the coordination of evaluating and determining transportation time to campus at the time designated for the course. Registration is an electronic process.
  • Initial release from school will not affect the scheduling of courses and scholars are expected to participate in class if the class is scheduled in the afternoon.

Dual Enrollment scholars are not eligible for the following:

  • Enrollment in more than two classes per semester

Returning Scholars

Scholars who wish to continue as a dual enrollment scholar will not need to reapply. For scholars who do not maintain enrollment for consecutive semesters, the High School Counselor will develop a readmit list of scholars for submission to the Coppin State University Dual Enrollment Liaison on site before the Orientation activity.
