We love welcoming visitors, families, and friends to our beautiful 65 acre campus in the heart of Baltimore. We offer group tours perfect for college trips and individual/family trips perfect for personally-guided campus tours.

Campus Tours
Thank you for your interest in exploring The Nest! 🦅 Our enthusiastic student ambassadors, The Soar Squad, can't wait to give you a first-hand look at all that Coppin State University has to offer. Get ready for a fun and informative tour packed with details about our university's rich history, admission tips, academic programs, and a guided tour through our beautiful campus!
Elementary and Middle School Groups
Due to high demand, the Office of Admissions has shifted our focus to high school and community college tours. We no longer offer tours for elementary and middle school groups and all slots for our elementary/middle school Education Day events have been filled for the academic year.
🔹 Tour Highlights
Your visit will last about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your group size, and will cover all the must-see spots! Our campus tour experience is a walking tour experience and will include a thorough view of our campus facilities.
🔹 Tour Guidelines
To make sure everyone has the best experience, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Groups need 1 chaperone per 10 students, with a max of 75 students per tour.
- Tours happen rain or shine, and will only be postponed for severe weather or extreme heat.
- To ensure an authentic academic environment, tours won’t include sitting in on classes, but we promise there’s plenty else to see and enjoy!
🔹 Special Requests
While we’d love to show off our school spirit with things like step shows, mascot meet-and-greets, and meetings with faculty or staff, these aren’t guaranteed during tours. But don’t worry, the tour itself will be full of amazing highlights!
🔹 Booking Your Tour
All tours must be booked in advance. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the info you need once your tour is set! Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate same-day requests or self-guided tours.
When you’re ready to book, make sure your group is available—unavailable dates will be grayed out.
🔹 Dining Options
Want to grab a bite during your visit? Dining options are available! Once your tour is confirmed, you'll receive information to coordinate meals directly with our catering services. Just a heads up—meals aren’t included in the tour time, so be sure to coordinate with our catering team for availability.

Coronavirus Protocols
Coppin State University is committed to implementing safety protocols and procedures that prioritize the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, campus buildings are currently only accessible through the use of a CSU Eagle ID card. Visitors do not have to be vaccinated but should monitor for symptoms. If any symptoms are experienced prior to your visit, please contact us to reschedule.
